This product is terrible. Water tastes like some kind of chemical after installing this hose. I will buy a tube from another manufacturer. Don't waste your money on it. Very disappointed

Urgent replacement of a leaking fridge water line was required. This is a high quality stainless steel braided hose. Ease of installation. Be sure to follow the instructions. Tighten finger tight, then turn 1/2 turn. A good length is also 5 feet.

Plug arrived quickly and was very easy to install. However, the water from the fridge had an unpleasant, nauseous chemical taste, as reported by many reviews. I think I received a "defective" part. I bought and installed a different brand of connector hose from my local Home Depot and the water tasted great. I returned the Eastman ice machine connector to Revain.

I installed this on the fridge as a water source for the water dispenser and ice maker. I gave it a quick wash with running water before installing it, but didn't try to wash it with anything. There was an error. It's been a few days and the water still has a bad taste. I installed a new water filter. I washed it off with a few liters of water but the bad taste stayed.
