Review on Eastman 41033 Stainless Icemaker Connector by Kyle Omaha

It took me a while to narrow down to this hose because I bought a new LG fridge and wanted to replace the original connection hose at home. At first we thought it was just a new fridge and it would get better with time. But over time it got worse and worse. The unfiltered tap water was fine so I ended up taking the filter out of the fridge but nothing changed and by this point the water and ice were making me sick. I was now considering returning the fridge, but as a seasoned troubleshooter I decided to replace the hose as I bought a 15ft stainless steel hose from Lowes when I put the old fridge in the garage and the water was fine. I disconnected the hose from the fridge and filled the jar straight from the hose. which absolutely proved it was a hose. After connecting a new hose and flushing the hose, the flavor improved, but some flavor remained. After about a week and lots of rinsing with water from the fridge it was fine. I wonder what was in that hose and where it came from. I'm sure I'm not the only one having this problem. I would return it but 30 days have passed. I can still try because it's a lot cheaper for them to refund me than other actions I could take.
