I read a question from someone about if the ties are compostable, and the answer was "Yes, they seem to be." Umm. that is not a yes! Our recycling and compost trucks refuse to take these because of the ties. My compost is taken from the box and left outside on the sidewalk. Tried these to do a double patio door. Hung 2. First, there is no way to get these to be less than 2” apart. The pictures they advertise show them with practically no space between them. I could live with this.What i can not live with is the cheapness of the materials. The plastice chains are of the lowest quality. Good for the price paid but I noticed they aren’t very flexible when installing over my wider curtain rod. I had some concern over them deforming or breaking when I was adjusting the clips.
