We bought the 4 gallon bags first and they were great so I ordered the 8 gallon for our larger trash cans. The 8 gallon are made out of something completely different and some of them shred when you try to rip them apart. Others just disconnect from the top drawstring part of the bag. Unfortunately I will not be reordering the 8 gallon size again.

I read a question from someone about if the ties are compostable, and the answer was "Yes, they seem to be." Umm. that is not a yes! Our recycling and compost trucks refuse to take these because of the ties. My compost is taken from the box and left outside on the sidewalk. I need a better understanding of these ties, so I can give a better explanation to the truckers.

Compost is usually gross, smelly and gooey so keeping your hands free from its ugliness is what this bag does. First, because of the drawstring handles, you can fill this bag to the top (whereas with other non-drawstring bags, you've got to leave enough space at the top to close it unless you're OK with throwing out the bag without closing it). And second, the drawstring gets a tight closure that helps to keep pesky insects from overrunning my compost bin.

These are much smaller than I realized and don't fit most of my small trash cans. I think next time I will size up to a 2 gallon. They do fit my trash can that I throw the cat litter in so that's perfect.

It's the perfect size for our little compost trash can. Where we live, it's obligatory to compost. It's just sturdy enough; it might split around the top if you fill it all the way up, but at least it hasn't split on the bottom.

I needed something that would replace the single use plastic bags we used in our trailer garbage holder. These were the perfect size, loved the drawstring and the fact they are compostable. They are pretty sturdy and no leaks with light use. Had one experience with a leak but put a lot in the bag.

I like that these are better for the environment and work perfectly for small trashcans, I read reviews about them not being water proof/leak but in my case these bags will be used for the bathroom and don’t have plans to put liquid in them so with that said these are perfect for my needs and recommend them.

These fit in the trash can properly, don’t rip and are sturdy. First biodegradable ones I can say that about! I became concerned about placing plastic in landfills and looked for a better alternative. This is it!

The description states these bags will fit a square trash can that's less than 31.4" in circumference. My square trash can is 7.5" on each side, so the total circumference is 30". These trash bags are too small by about 1-1/2" to 2" so I can't use them. When measuring the waste bin you'd like to line make sure your square bin is 2" less than 31.4" in circumference or you might have the same problem I did. I wish I could have used them. We needed some sturdy but smallish bags for our camper. I'm sure these are fine, just disappointed with the design that is supposed to turn the roll sideways in the box to dispense, and it's too big. Also a bandaid wrapper fell out of the box assuming from the factory.

The size and color are perfect for small bathroom trash cans but the drawstring is not sturdy and tears away from the bag if there is any weight in the trash. Should be fine for tissue trash.

Very disappointed with these. When I try to pull the draw strings to close up the bag they almost always tear, making the draw strings totally useless. Even when I’m trying to be really gentle they still tear. Very frustrating. Will not buy again.

I am a single guy so I was looking for a very small size of compostable trash bags. I am glad I found this. These are really small, mini size trash bags. It's a bit tricky to set it up so you can remove them individually from the box (pay attention to the instructions). I like that it has strings so you can easily pull the strings and tie them. I haven't put anything really heavy in them; I keep them light but I think they are sturdy enough for their size. I cannot comment on the compostability

It's a good product for the money, environmentally friendly, large enough for my bathroom under the counter waste baskets.

These fit my 1.2 gallon trash can perfectly and I love that they are compostable. but my favorite part of this purchase is the box design! The box transforms into a dispenser that keep the bags ready to go at a moments notice. The instructions are printed clearly with images on the back of the box and it's a small detail that has a huge convenience factor!

Every single one of these bags tears upon opening. I had the smaller ones and they were way more durable. Drawstring easily detaches from bag!

I bought these bags to put in the Knodel car trash receptacles I purchased. The Knodel's advertise as watertight but I didn't want to have to take out the receptacle to clean out the inside if I put a non-empty coffee cup or drink in the receptacle so I bought these bags to use as liners. It looked like I had room to add more food in so I did. But then when I tried pulling the bag out to empty it started tearing on me! Then all the food spilled out onto my countertop, ahhhh! So even If you see that you have more room, don’t chance it.

These a good little trash can bags, perfect for bathrooms and offices. I like that the box can hang up and store nicely in my laundry room, in my thin narrow space and yet still easy to get to by pull draw. I am also a huge fan of these little bags having a draw string, i also struggle to tie the little strings when the bag is small as it. This lets you actually be able to pack the bag full and still be able to tie it off. The only downside is that they only fit around half my small trash cans.

Tears very easily. Completely useless. If you are conscientious about recycling and being organic, also consider your carbon footprint for products you order from China.
