I read reviews about bad suction but bought this vacuum anyway. I was so excited that it works - it's unusual that it has a built in scale. The seal button works. Offers a decent seal in a short amount of time - not super strong, but decent; however, the vacuum/pack function doesn't work at all. It doesn't suck in air and doesn't try to seal with that knob. Replacing the block gave me the exact same problem. The vacuum function is the main reason I wanted this device. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this device because it just doesn't work.
