OH ONE TIP before I start review. IF you feel the tongue doesn't stay up, some cheap fabric tape along sides of tongue help keep in place, easy, inexpensive fix.___________________________________________________________________________________I was looking for a shoe I could get wet, had a non-slip sole, but was comfy and dried fast.I have athletic/running shoes, flip flops etc, but none worked for when I was walking in the wet grass, watering the garden or taking my dog out on wet concrete (well, the athletic shoes WORKED but then they got wet and took forever to dry and flip flops, just flip flopped and gave me no stability).MY EXPERIENCE with these FABULOUS SHOES! And I'm particular:PROS:FIT - I got my size in athletic shoes, which is 8.5.I tried on with a THIN athletic sock and perfect, fit, but not too tight. WITHOUT thin sock, a little big, but can still wear.ADJUSTABLE LACES! - I LOVE the laces. You can make looser or tighter and you don't have to worry about them coming untied.COMFORT - was a little concerned, as I read reviews these are hard, not comfortable, like Crocs (which I've never worn, but guessing basically hard plastic insole?).These came with an great insole you can remove, NOT as cushiony as a good athletic shoe, but it's PERFECT for me. Just enough comfort and support. IN FACT, WAY better than the so called memory foam brand name slipper clogs I have (that after about a day feel like I'm walking on soft, but lumpy pancakes).CONVENIENCE - THIS. WAS. HUGE. I take my dog in and out (in condo, so no fenced yard) across parking lot which can be wet, especially this time of year, to grass (again, which can be wet). THESE are the PERFECT type of shoes for this. The stability of my athletic shoes, but the convenience of putting on flip flops (actually EASIER than flip flops).COST: SO WORTH THE PRICE AND MORE! THESE are the shoe I will likely wear the most around the house, running a quick errand. Comfy, easy to slip on and off and you can get them wet, damp and will dry fast. AND they cost a LOT less than a decent athletic/running shoe! And offer qualities a running shoe can't.These DO feel much more comfortable with a thin athletic sock, because, like with running shoes, there is an insole (tho not as thick as in running shoes) that can get sweaty. And they just fit a bit better.BOTTOMLINE: WHERE have these been all my life?WOULD DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN.
