Note unconventional installation! First the two "posts" of the seat are attached to the toilet, each with a nut underneath to secure them, and then the seat itself is attached (and can easily be removed for cleaning and then reattached again and again). Posts by rotating the posts "caps" on the seat hinge. I don't recall having detailed instructions in the kit, but as a retired engineer the process was intuitive to me. However, the product is durable and goes perfectly with my 1980's Kohler Wellworth. Expensive but much cheaper than ordering from local bathroom stores.
