They hold up better than the pair that came with my iPod shuffle but are too long. The price and rating were better than the shorter one, but it's a pain to swim around and feel the wires float around you. Today I attached an iPod to a cap and tucked part of the cord under my glasses and cap. It's better than a three, but not a four because of the crazy length. The sound is okay, staying slightly better than the higher rated headphones, there are still some issues with water ingress and occasional damping, but at least one earbud always works so far.
