I signed up for a 4 month purchase of these air filters just to save my wallet and time. I drive about 8,000 miles every three months, so I change the oil in my VW myself. These filters work with both 1.8 liter turbocharged and 2.0 liter GTI engines. The only interesting thing about them is that the filter material is red. Not sure if it matters, but after getting oil on it, it almost doesn't matter. They work, the gasket fits perfectly and is comparable to those that come with OEM Mann filters.
