Very poor quality control on this particular filter. I am the first owner of this truck and to save money I do most of the maintenance. Very fair price at Revain, these are Original Motorcraft - not auto parts store replacements, they are NOT the same, they are patented. Your diesel fuel system (injectors, CP4 high pressure pump, low pressure pump) will be destroyed with just a little dirt or water - why risk it? Google the Chevy Duramax forum for the poor guy who got water contaminated fuel and spent $9000 to replace fuel system parts/work. I can't say if this filter is up to many other brands but I haven't had any fuel system problems for 80,000 km with these filters. The package includes the two filters I need for my 6.7 liter Power Stroke and a new o-ring for the frame mounted filter. Everything was easy to swap out. This is an OEM Motorcraft Kit. Great price here at Revain and typically wicked fast shipping. The first fuel filter change on my 2011 F250 SD was at a dealership and was too expensive. This is a great OEM replacement kit containing everything needed to complete the fuel filter. I couldn't believe how much money the dealer was willing to charge for a fuel filter change, I feel like dealers or mechanics in general often take advantage of people who don't understand how easy it is to do some routine work.
