Review on Enhance Engine Performance 🔧 with Motorcraft FD4615 Fuel Filter by Marcus Hargrave

Very poor quality control on this particular filter. I am the first owner of this truck and to save money I do most of the maintenance. This was the 7th time I've changed the fuel filters, so you'd think I'd somehow solved them. Everything was fine with the filter on the frame, but the filter installed on the engine would not fit into the socket in which it is located. I found a spur on the plastic strip of the filter housing and sawed it off - it's still too tight. It was so tight that even with a little lubrication it wouldn't rotate when the locking tab was in place. Although I had it, so I took it out and put the old filter in, no problem. What if you need a truck? Didn't want to risk getting dirty by putting the old one back on. I ended up cutting off the index tab and carefully inserting the filter to connect the fuel lines. hope i can figure it out Motorcraft has supplier problems, definitely not the usual quality. Unsuccessful experience!
