After driving my model 3 for two years than I realized that the cabinet filters should have been replaced more regularly especially the air quality has been poor due to all the wild fire in California, manufacturers suggest every two years but I think every year is more appropriate, My friend recommended this product and these filters are truest exceptionally built, very good quality and very easy to install, you can tell the difference immediately after replacing the filters.Highly recommend…

Seems to work as intended. It is an air filter. Bought to get rid of the foul smell from the AC. Won’t be able to tell until the temp outside here in MN is higher.

I like that it blocks the potential access for insects, rodents, water, leaves, and the like. Still unsure how it may or may not affect the AC's reliability with the reduced airflow though.Seems like a pretty straightforward air intake filter add-on. Could be just a little confusing for some because there aren't top and bottom markings on either the blue or white side. Customer photos are inconsistent with which side is top or bottom.

It's easy to put the filter in backwards. There is not air flow direction stamp on the filter so you can put it in backwards. It's a great filter and a good improvement to a great car that should have had a filter to begin with. But the filter should show you which way to install it with a stamped arrow showing the air flow or instruction sheet with how to install it. Otherwise, it's a good filter.

It is a straight forward install and fits exactly in my Tesla Model 3. Provides first defense against dirt, dust and other pollutants from entering the passenger compartment. Of course its, HEPA protection.

Update: it’s even worse than I initially thought. The filter now twists, not filtering anything. It’s probably disrupting the airflow bc the filter is now all twisted up just sitting there in the air intake. This filter meets the standard air filter requirements and a perfect fit. i had to replace mine on Model Y beforehand and this came at a very reasonable price as compared to that from tesla. the packaging was good and delivered the product without distortion.

While the air filter itself is great, this reduces the airflow to the cabin. Thanks for attention. This is the reason for a 3 star rating!

I noticed few leaves around the air vent and had I not removed them, the vent could’ve been clogged. So to prevent that from happening in the future I decided to get this product. Material seems to be high quality and it’s a prefect fit for the Model 3, it was super easy to install. Now I don’t have to worry about anything getting in the vent and this will also improve the air quality.

Fit right in no problems being too big like the ones I bought from amazon that were more expensive and too big that took me 2 hours to get them out because they wouldn't go in all the way. Beware the black faced heavy charcoal filters on Ebay, and there are many . . . that don't fit! You will go thru hell!

There are a total of 3 filters in a Model 3/Y and only 2 are installed from the factory which are the cabin air filters. This kind of filter doesn't exist from the factory and I think I can guess why Tesla doesn't include them.This aftermarket product is great in theory, however it causes the A/C fan to work even harder than it needs to to compensate for the filter. This makes my vehicle much louder and decreases the life of the A/C.You're better off purchasing HEPA cabin air filters instead.

The original Tesla filter feels heavier but this replacement was a good fit. After using AC coil cleaner and replacing the filter the AC smell was gone.

This product works really good. Would highly recommend it for all Tesla owners that on a model three or a model wire. May worsen the air quality in certain conditions!

Installed into my 2018 m3. My model year M3 does not come with a pre filter from the factory but I decided to try this. I had no issues with my cabin filters prior. The design is poor. One side is flat and the other shaped like a standard filter. Installed, the flat portion of the filter faces out. The flat design alone reduces the surface area restricting intake air flow and likely making the blower work harder. I failed to see this in the photos prior to purchasing. I cannot discern any…

I picked these up since it was cheaper than the OEM filters. The filters are constructed well and have a nice fresh smell that's not overpowering. I'll definitely buy them again.

Great alternative to the OEM cabin air filter for Tesla Model 3. Haven't put them in yet, but they look like they will work great.

I had to turn the fan all the way up to get any air flow at all through the filter. This filter could damage your vehicle. May reduce fuel efficiency.

Just took a few minutes to install. I was not getting an odor, but changing the cabin air filter seemed a bit too much for me, so trying this HEPA filter made a lot of sense and hopefully will eliminate the need for the cabin filter to be replaced. Definitely recommend this product.
