Description of Pirelli Powergy 225/45 R17 94Y summer

Pirelli PowergyThe Pirelli Powergy summer tire is suitable for most passenger cars, and for its performance properties, their owners. It is distinguished by reliable grip on dry and wet roads, sporty handling, resistance to aquaplaning and effective braking. The running part of the tread is made of a rubber compound based on silicon dioxide. The use of this compound in fine dispersion and advanced production methods ensure that the compound is homogeneous, further enhancing the tire''s grip on wet roads. In addition, it contains special polymers. With their help, the rubber compound at the molecular level has high tensile strength and tensile strength. This significantly increases tire replacement mileage due to its resistance to abrasion, punctures and cuts. The tire is distinguished by a low tendency to aquaplaning, which is ensured by several features in its tread design at once. One of them is the longitudinal drainage grooves increased in width. They almost instantly remove even a very large volume of water from the contact patch. They are connected with transverse grooves directed at an aggressive angle against the movement. This solution further enhances the resistance to hydroplanning, using the rotation of the wheel for this. The longitudinal ribs located in the central part are massive and rigid elements, very resistant to deformation. They improve steering precision and directional stability, reduce rolling resistance and prevent uneven wear. The main features of the Pirelli Powergy - silica-based rubber compound with special polymers increase grip on wet roads, increase tire mileage, especially on bad roads; The fin-shaped sipes reduce noise and give the tire a smoother ride. * Attention: summer tires of non-Russian origin can be marked with the designation M + S

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Both the pricing and the quality are excellent. A subtle distinction, which I will elaborate on in a subsequent post. I was concerned that I wouldn't make it through the season on a single set of tires because the tread appeared to be rather "skinny" when I was making the purchase. In addition, throughout the summer months, I have somewhere around forty thousand. But I didn't go until last summer, and the tread has worn down to less than half its original depth; therefore, I have plenty for the

Pros
  • Price. Conduct when driving a vehicle. Low degree of wear. Smooth.
Cons
  • The guardian appears to be rather thin to the naked eye.

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

A Camry cost me a total of 215/55/p17 dollars to purchase. Before that, there was an original Yoka decibel e70 that came straight from the factory. The following is a complaint made by a buddy regarding their sensitivity to the track, namely throwing. Nifiga does not have a throwing motion. After making the purchase, I made sure to check the vehicle's behavior when it was stuck in a rut by doing things like holding the steering wheel with one hand and making sure the vehicle did not veer off…

Pros
  • Not noisy.
Cons
  • No.

Not satisfactory, upset with the product.

Why would you bother leaving reviews if you just utilized the rubber for one to two months? Then a poor product with such a poor rating will obtain a decent rating, and someone will buy it. The following is an honest evaluation of the entire season: A potent vehicle with rear-wheel drive made use of it on the front axle of the vehicle. Acquired in the early months of the year 2022. Made in 2022. On a dry surface, despite the fact that it was brand new, it possessed longitudinal and transverse…

Pros
  • Was obtained at a price that was a steal. Sturdy sidewall.
Cons
  • Poor performance in both wet and dry conditions in the cool temperature. Rapid degeneration. Performance that is average both when it is wet and when it is dry in warm weather.

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

I decided to upgrade my previous energy kits by purchasing a brand new one. I was satisfied with the additional warranty that the manufacturer provided, and I thought the business did a fantastic job; they delivered the item swiftly, the rubber was wrapped in stretch film, and it was clean. A breeze to keep in balance. I roll, I like it. The previous ones served a total mileage of 119,000, but since winter is a time when I drive significantly less, I estimate that the current ones have seen…

Pros
  • Price, reliable traction on dry and wet surface, durability, and little wear and tear
Cons
  • absolutely nonexistent

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

It does not slide, it is good in the rain, it does not tan, and it has a solid grip on the road. These are some of its positive attributes. There is an acceptable amount of background noise. drove + - 500 miles on it. Its cons: The mud rapidly jams up the tread on the tire. To be honest, given such a pattern, one would have anticipated it.

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

For this price, it seems to me an ideal option, + they gave a card with 4k, free tire fitting and a guarantee against hernias, punctures. The driving style is moderate, I don’t play checkers, but I like to sink on the track and while the rubber is completely satisfied for my tasks. I drove about 700 km in total, so let's say the primary review. With its pros: Changed Cinturato P7 to these, size 245/45R18. First impressions are positive so far, I don’t feel much difference from the P7. Good dry…

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

All the important points are listed in the list of advantages and disadvantages. At the end of the first season, I liked the tires. Got pros: Definitely a win in price. Good driving characteristics on wet roads, including in heavy rain. On dry, good behavior is predictable, but with dry asphalt in the summer, in general, everything is simple. Good behavior at speed on the track, regarding acceleration, braking, stability of behavior in corners and lane changes. Has cons: When buying, I was…

I did not like it, I do not advise buying.

Before Powergy, I used Bridgstone Turanza ER300 tires and had no problems other than punctures. Decided to replace it due to old age. I bribed the price at that time 8100 for a balloon of size 225/45 r17 and an extended warranty plus free tire fitting. I didn’t even leave for a month, and after a hole at 35 km / h a hernia came out on the side. The sidewall is weak, now I will try how the extended warranty works. In theory, they should be replaced or repaired.

Pros
  • Moderately comfortable
Cons
  • Weak sidewall, a hernia popped out in the first hole. Drive only on smooth roads and then carefully.

Apparently, these are tires for commercial vehicles with all their pluses and minuses. Wear-resistant but, oddly enough, not very noisy. It so happened that I came to the tire shop at the store to change shoes for summer tires, which I brought with me - Michelin from the directional rain series, the guys flatly refused to install, since the wear is such that the rubber needs to be changed, and in time it is already more than five years old. And only this model turned out to be in stock…

Pros
  • Good grip on dry and wet pavement. Almost do not notice transverse seams and cracks, as well as patches.
Cons
  • Noisy depending on the quality of the asphalt.

A useless product, its not worth the money.

Overall, I'm happy with the tires so far. There are questions and concerns about the actions of the Pirellis themselves, but there is still time. I'm afraid for hernia and lateral on this rubber, it's really scary. 2022. The sidewall turned out to be normal, but the wear resistance . Just an exorbitant abrasion rate! Rubber Evenly gobbled up for 2 summer seasons! First time I see this! 1mm of tread left. I've never seen anything like this before, I definitely don't recommend it! I thought I…

Pros
  • 1. Price 2. 10th week of production 2022 3. Fairly quiet 4. Promises long-term use (actually worn out in 2 years)
Cons
  • 1. In my opinion, too soft, i. E. there are real concerns about side cuts, hernias, and so on. I haven’t hit the pits yet, but there is direct confidence that it will be so 2. The promised Pirelli service is not so cool: 1. Cashback after 2 weeks from the purchase is still not credited (the hotline said some kind of error in their software, such as the purchase was not reflected in them. Manually pushed the check, but I think the system so it will slow down and I will probably be thrown). 2. It is impossible to register tires under the extended Pirelli warranty :) 3 days of poking - all the time errors during registration. I called the hotline - they told me, like, send us a letter by mail indicating the type of registration error. In case of problems with the tire, allegedly you just need to show a letter to the store where you bought it. But the conditions are clearly spelled out in the guarantee - you need registration and a PIN code in SMS. Nothing came to me, so I will be sent by the store. 3. It floats a little in a rut, i. E. earlier, on Korean rubber, I could at least let go of the steering wheel - the car went like on rails, but here it flounders (not much, but the fact itself. I hold on to the steering wheel). 4. Time-tested super high-speed abrasion! For 2 years, the tires have worn off to zero! If we consider the cost of the season run, then this is my most expensive rubber in my life!

I bought tires (225-45-19) to replace the stock Bridgestone Turanza due to the lack of breeches in the right size. I have already skated more than 1000 km on rubber in 1.5 months - only pleasant sensations: it became quieter in the cabin, it stopped chatting along the track, the grip increased. I can’t say anything about the minuses yet (I haven’t encountered hernias / damages), but the way the functionality of issuing gift cards is implemented is just a shame. Would not hold an action / limit…

Pros
  • 1. Quiet (compared to Bridgestone and Nokian) 2. Stable in ruts and on wet surfaces 3. Nice price
Cons
  • 1. According to the characteristics of the tires, no problems have been identified so far 2. The performance curve of "shares" with gift cards

Bought last year, great price. And even after the rise in price, I think that the value for money is on top. I expect that it will be a long walk, since last summer I ran about 20 thousand miles, and wear is very little noticeable. In terms of driving characteristics, the rubber suits me completely. Holds the road well on dry and rainy days. Confidently rulitsya and brakes at high speeds. In urban mode, it is quite soft and comfortable, despite the low profile.

Pros
  • Good value for money. Sharpens slowly. Confident driving performance.
Cons
  • No
