Review on Enhance Engine Performance 🔧 with Motorcraft FD4615 Fuel Filter by Marcus West

I can't say if this filter is up to many other brands but I haven't had any fuel system problems for 80,000 km with these filters. The package includes the two filters I need for my 6.7 liter Power Stroke and a new o-ring for the frame mounted filter. Everything was easy to swap out. Check out the YouTube video if you need some motivation. Make sure you have a No. 10 jar, quart jar, or something similar handy. A frame mounted filter will drain at least half a liter of water, just like you test your water monthly. When changing the filter, first loosen the housing 3 turns, then open the shut-off valve with the can inserted and wait a few minutes. The engine bay filter will also drain some fuel if you tilt it from a horizontal position, so this is a good place to do that safely. The subsequent pumping is easy and should not be skipped. Switch on ignition but do not start. Wait 30 seconds for the fuel pump to turn off, then turn the key back to the off position. Repeat 5 or 6 times. You will likely notice strange noises coming from the fuel system until it is completely full.
