I would buy good thermostat gaskets again
Fel-Pro Water Outlet Gasket 35286 Everything seems fine on my 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L thermostat housing. I had to cut off one end. The only complaint is that the pad stuck to the paper and I had to wet it and gently rub the paper to remove it. I think she got wet in camp. It's not the seal manufacturer's fault Fel-bro products are generally reliable.
