I really like these lamps. A bit modern for my taste. I've had the lamp for a week now. I find it stronger than I thought. I chose this lamp over others because it has 3 things I was looking for: dimmable, adjustable color temperature and that the "head" can be turned sideways as described. Variable light settings at the touch of a finger and 3 light modes, 5-level dimmer. A bonus feature of this lamp is the USB port at the base. When I first bought it I didn't think much about it; but it's really handy for charging your phone or other electronics! The USB port works well enough for charging, which is a good thing since the lamp takes the outlet my phone charger used. But now I can charge my phone with the lamp. I use it on my desk and the large backlit display has a modern look and always shows the current time, temperature and date for quick and easy access. It features a customizable alarm clock for the perfect time. This alarm clock is designed to be convenient for me to choose my favorite alarm clock music. This lamp virtually eliminates clutter on your desk thanks to its versatility.
