Review on Swaddle 2 1 Classic Weighted by Katie Coleman

I bought this hoping I could get my 7 week old baby back to sleep during the day (I've tried everything and everything). My daughter is now 11 weeks old so I had this and used it for a while. During the day it had no effect on her sleep. She quite refuses to sleep outside of baby clothes/hands normally. As for the night, I've had a very brief period recently where my daughter slept at least a 4 hour sleep block, but she was waking up every two hours. Since a brief streak of good sleep occurred well after starting to use the wrap and has since ceased, the wrap was not the cause of those delightful few nights. Pros of the case: it washes and dries very well and the velcro stays strong. The only thing that has suffered from washing is the printed logo on the inside, it has washed off. This is definitely a durable product. Changing a diaper is easy as long as you don't use a one-piece zipper. The material is soft and breathable. Size variety is good. My daughter started at about 9 pounds and is now 13 (23 inches) tall and still has plenty of wiggle room. It may have helped with learning to swaddle, but it's hard to say because I don't use other sleepers at this time. Cons - The theory behind the product didn't work for us. Price. The velcro is strong but damn loud. it didn't work for us, maybe worth a try as a last resort but don't expect miracles, in the end it's just an overpriced sleeping bag for us.
