Review on ๐Ÿฑ TRIXIE Cat Tree: Condo, Scratching Post & Playground by Megan Marshall

Revainrating 1 out of 5

This cat tree is for little ones, 10# or less

This cat tree is easy to assemble and comes with connectors, screws and wrenches. But fitting the sagging seat between the two cord-covered tubes was a challenge because if tightened enough, the carpeting would pucker and warp. But I could pull just enough to feel it wouldn't tip over. However, when my cat was placed on each tier, the seat sagged, after which it jumped off. I tried adding support under the outside edge but my cat wasn't interested in checking the upper tiers after that first event. I even tried putting it in two different locations, including one with a window facing the street. When I decided to return it, I found that when I tightened the sagging seat between the two tubes in the twist, the carpet tore. If I hadn't taken it apart I wouldn't have known it ripped. I think the carpet was of lower quality but I did notice (feel) sharp metal points sticking out. No blood was drawn, but this is another potentially serious drawback. I believe most of the wood is cardboard and the slack is from a metal tube. It is difficult. And I had to take it to a department store to get full credit for the return.
