Less than a month old

We have two cats, each less than a year old, each about 7 pounds. 3 weeks of use and falling apart. The first thing that struck me was the peculiarity of the small hammock, the frame was bent for the first week or so. My husband could fix it so I figured it might still work for the price. NO WRONG! Now the box collapses at the bottom, allowing the entire block to be carried without the kitten's weight. We have 5 more scratching posts in our house; yes 5 do not judge, a pair above and a pair…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

Hammock is a favorite, great decor, could be more durable

Overall great product. Looks great in my medium sized townhouse and the kitty loves it. It was in all of this before I even built it! I was surprised how soft the gray pieces are. I removed the star because it could be stronger. I put the barbell in the lower "house" until the kitten calmed down a bit with her because he was swaying a bit with his rough housing. My kitten is about 7 months old and this is the perfect size for him. I'm not worried about this working for him as he gets older as…

Great scratching post, don't throw it away

I wanted a multi-story scratching post with a hammock and closet, but it usually costs a million dollars over my budget. It was a great value (32) to check out my entire wish list. When my kitty was 4 pounds, she climbed the sisal tree a lot and loved sleeping in the tube and hammock. She still likes to sleep in a hammock, I find her there sometimes during the day, but she sleeps in it every night. Now that she's 10+ pounds I had to put a stool or prop under her because she bent the hammock…

I was hoping this scratching post would be better than the reviews but

Well I was hoping this scratching post would be better than the reviews but I had to listen to them! When assembling, part of the scratching post is screwed in badly. It just keeps spinning forever. This was my first clue that this was a poor quality product. Well, a small part of the hammock just rotates - these are both my cat's favorite parts of the tree (actually they are ONLY interested in the hammock and the scratching post), but both make the hammock really heavy, from the looks of it…

This cat tree is for little ones, 10# or less

This cat tree is easy to assemble and comes with connectors, screws and wrenches. But fitting the sagging seat between the two cord-covered tubes was a challenge because if tightened enough, the carpeting would pucker and warp. But I could pull just enough to feel it wouldn't tip over. However, when my cat was placed on each tier, the seat sagged, after which it jumped off. I tried adding support under the outside edge but my cat wasn't interested in checking the upper tiers after that first…

Works well enough for the price! 3/5

I am applying for the adoption of my cat. I figured I should have a scratching post in my apartment if they check so they know I'm committed to the cat. The breakdown is as follows: One star for fast shipping. I went for the free shipping option which predicted a delivery time of 2-3 weeks. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the package was delivered after 2 days of waiting. Delivered 2 days earlier! Another star, of course for the price. It's definitely not the prettiest scratching post…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

ok for the money: activity trees

Good value for money. It's made of not very durable material, in fact the front of the base (where the hole is) looks like cardboard maybe? The first tree we got this part crushed almost immediately after installation. It cracked a little when we received it, but the base quickly began to collapse under the weight of the rest of the tree (not the kitty yet). So we had it replaced. Also note the carpet is VERY thin, the 2nd tree we received actually had some fraying at the seams (because the…
