Review on 🐱 TRIXIE Cat Tree: Condo, Scratching Post & Playground by Irene Rodriguez

ok for the money: activity trees

Good value for money. It's made of not very durable material, in fact the front of the base (where the hole is) looks like cardboard maybe? The first tree we got this part crushed almost immediately after installation. It cracked a little when we received it, but the base quickly began to collapse under the weight of the rest of the tree (not the kitty yet). So we had it replaced. Also note the carpet is VERY thin, the 2nd tree we received actually had some fraying at the seams (because the carpet is so thin), we figured our cat would scrape it off over time anyway, so that's ok For the 2nd tree/apartment, BEFORE assembling it, we put 2x2 supports in each of the 4 corners of the base (this was after making sure the replacement box had cracks around the round hole as well, and we could see that the same problem occurs is about to disappear). develop). This fixed that problem. The rope wrapped around the poles is very secure and it's awesome! We've had him for about 3 weeks and we've had to tighten screws once (our kitten is a whopping 3.2lbs as of yesterday). If you're willing to make some adjustments, it's probably worth it. We liked his style so we were ready to make it work. I'm pretty sure that before my kitten grows into an adult cat, it will be completely exhausted and useless. Like I said, a good investment for the money. Oh one more thing, the hanging sphere is on top over the center of the round tube and not on the top deck on the side of the cylinder as shown in the picture.
