Maybe it filters too well for us

This made my hard water worse. We were moving to a hard water state and my family had very dry skin as a result. I bought this filter thinking it would help our skin. We have been using the filter for 2 weeks and my two sons have complained that they are very itchy after showering. It doesn't filter water like we need it to. Maybe it's filtered too well and we just can't accept it. I had to remove it after 2 weeks of use due to terrible skin irritation.
