I chose to purchase a PS4 Pro at the end of the current console generation for the sake of the exclusives, which have been released often over the past 6-7 years. In contrast to the full price of 4 and higher, older games on discs (older than two years from the date of publication) are currently extremely affordable and do not hurt the wallet. The console offers many pleasurable experiences, numerous excellent and expansive single games that are not done in one evening, and the option to play together on one TV with two gamepads.

Cons
- It is recommended that you turn off the console for 30 to 40 minutes after playing for two to three hours to prevent overheating. If you don't keep an eye on the charge, the controller, unlike the Xbox One controller, can sometimes require you to sit next to the wire. A PS Plus subscription is required to play online or in multiplayer. A very contentious choice, especially if you paid full price for a game with single and network content but were unable to fully enjoy it without a membership.
