This is NOT the type of tray you use to put in or take out a pizza. This shovel is specially designed to lift one side of the pizza and slowly turn it in the pizza oven. However, my main criticism of this device is that the handle is too short. If you're baking in a wood-fired pizza oven, it can heat up to 900°F, so a longer-range pan would be better. I don't know how long it will last because it feels really fragile. I think it's a wait as I don't think this thing can handle the heat. But it was easy to assemble, all hardware (hex key) included); Trust me I felt like an idiot wondering where the screws were since there were no screws in the pocket that the allen key was in. This is because the screws were already screwed into the handle. So you have to unscrew the screws, attach the detachable head, screw the screws back onto the handle! I don't think the included rubber grip will last too long; Tip: If the handle is not easy to install, turn it over and try to install it. Once I did that, it installed easily, so I suppose it could be narrowed down a bit.
