You buy a frame and upgrade everything else.

[Ender 5 Plus] I wanted a large build volume. That was the whole point of this car. My first week started and I found that the PTFE Bowden tubing was inferior. The internal tolerances were too loose, so I switched to Capricorn. Then they started skipping stepper drives for the extruder, so I switched to a two-speed extruder drive. Then my Y axis motor overheated so I had to adjust the potentiometers on the main board. The nozzle then kept clogging because the thermistor and heater cartridge were out of sync with each print, sometimes up to 20% (based on my IR-Temp gun), so I switched to Micro Swiss. (Now I'm at Hemera because the extruder could never fix it). Then the power supply blew, so I switched to Meanwell. The motherboard then skipped steps because I had updated the firmware to a better version, so I had to upgrade to a 32-bit board. The BL Touch automatic leveling system has never been stable. If you perform the automatic alignment ten times in a row, you will get ten different measurements. It was so misaligned in general that my prints started 0.5mm from the desktop in front and dragged across the desktop in the back on the first level. Oh yes, the right Z-screw was bent in the middle, causing the bed to wobble at prints over 100mm high. You buy an aluminum frame for $600 and replace everything else. This whole printer is like a fortune cookie, except when you open it, both sides of the state say you should learn Chinese.
