Update again. Well, what I said should happen, happened. A dog lost his collar today. 2 of the 3 I bought keep falling off leaving my dogs with no ID tag. I cannot recommend these collars more highly. UPDATE: While I'm still happy with the look and construction of these collars, they keep falling off randomly. My dog had just jumped out of his bed, I heard the metal clink and there was the collar on the floor. It's a miracle they only lost her at home and not at the dog park or when we were walking off leash in the woods. There must be a change in the design of the buckle. The problem isn't even the loss of the collar, but the identification tag that came with it. I need to figure out how to wear these collars or I need to buy new collars. Keep this in mind before making a purchase. I bought 3 collars for my 3 dogs and so far 2 collars have the same problem so I suspect it's not just an accident. What a quality collar. Beautifully packaged, thick leather, durable hardware. I first ordered one just to test before buying one for all my dogs. I was not disappointed. Rich look, soft leather. Heavy duty buckle, cute bone embroidery and the stitching seems well done. A little skeptical about the size. As it turned out there is one size and I have dogs that weigh 60-96lbs I wasn't sure if the collar would fit but it fits everyone perfectly! I immediately ordered 2 more for other dogs! My only "complaint" is the width of the collar. I used to use an identification slide that fits in a standard 1 inch collar. Does not fit these collars due to the collar width. It's okay, these collars are worth buying new ID tags, but it's just something to be aware of. I ended up using a hole punch and installed a permanent label with spacers.
