Bought for my 18 month old who seems to be the age gap between simple, boring toys and complex, potentially frustrating toys. He really enjoyed playing with it for a few weeks which at his age is a lifetime and the best I can expect from a purchase. It took him a while to figure out how to put the two pieces together, but once he figured it out, he sat with them for over 20 minutes, just taking them apart and putting them back together. We could also use them to start identifying colors. After 2-3 months he doesn't play with them that much anymore but they definitely came in handy. I will definitely save them for the next child in the family.
