I bought this unit about a year and a half ago and recently the HDMI output occasionally shows a black screen. It can happen 5 times a second every minute, or it doesn't happen at all while you're watching. Sometimes it turns off for almost a minute and the TV shows no input signal. I swapped out the cables and did some troubleshooting myself to see if the problem was with the receiver. No problem, I'll contact the warranty department. On the Denon website they only show a few warranty repair shops listed in the US. I tried calling Denon for support and the machine shows a higher call volume than normal (like any other company I guess) and it freezes and you can't exit the VM or create a ticket. The email is not listed on their "Contact Us" website and I have tried calling some of the service centers listed on their website and have been told "We no longer cover Denon" or have no reply to the Get abandoned VM. I strongly recommend purchasing a product that offers the best customer support.
