I have been using my inverter in my caravan for 2 years without any problems. However, I had an issue where someone else reported that plugging into an external outlet (I have 20 amps) disables the GFI in my house. I called targets and they told me I can't connect it to gfi. It doesn't have to be gfi. I did that and everything worked without any problems. But if you want to charge multiple batteries quickly, your plug needs to be able to handle the load. I recommend a 40 amp RV plug. No standard plug. I have 300Ah batteries and I can even turn on the AC with no problems (but it drains your batteries very quickly) so I don't use it for that, but I can easily turn on my microwave, coffee maker and most important etc to me can I operate two touchscreen computers. (I wouldn't run too many at once, although you know how close you get to the device's limits using this with an optional remote panel). Having installed 6 100W solar panels and a good solar charge controller, we can now camp on the beach without any connections and do our work on the computers. I can't compare this unit to other inverters but I think it's a bit inefficient as the batteries don't last long if you leave them on all day. But maybe they are all like that. So I recommend a remote panel so you can turn it on and off from inside the RV.
