It takes two coats and the colors aren't true to the pictures.
The colors aren't even close to the colors in the picture and they won't exchange or refund unopened bottles. I purchased them because it was advertised to only need one coat but it takes two coats. And I waited a long time for the second coat but it never fully dries. Total waste of money and I know why they don't give refunds this nail polish sucks.
