I bought this brace as a replacement because I couldn't find my current one. The shoulder strap is very well constructed with quality materials. 5 stars there. The size is a bit strange. I ordered medium as my current medium was medium (different brand), it was snug, wore it all day and found that by the end of the day I had chafing from the top of the metal inserts on either side. my thigh. It was partly my fault due to the size, but if you look inside you can see the roughness right where the metal brace is sewn in. 1 big star is deducted for that. I looked at the chart again and measured the size X-Large, which is definitely not my size, but I need to order it for a better fit. Minus 1 star for custom size. The size can be related to the unisex fit. I found my old one, so I'll get back to you first. But would buy it again in a larger size. Note - I want to be as objective as possible, so the rating is not tied to the quality of the goods, ie very good.
