When I first received these sheets and looked at them I thought they were very cheap. I was in desperate need of new sheets and was in a bind so I just kept them. After washing them, I put them on my bed and that night, when I fell asleep in them, I felt like I was in a hotel bed. The sheets were very hard and made a lot of noise. My husband and I used to joke that these aren't love sheets because you literally barely move your foot or arm, it sounds like the movement of paper. We agreed that I would take them off and send them back. Long story short, I didn't take them off until the following week, which was laundry day. I decided to give it another try and see what happens when I add fabric softener. I've had them for a few months now and I love them, I just feel like they've started out too stiff. They needed to be softened a bit. Every time I wash them they get softer. And despite the fact that they seem cheap, they hold up well.
