Review on Multilayer Graduated RICHERA Sequence Necklace: Stylish Jewelry for Women and Girls by Ryan Turner

Nice necklace, interesting design but low quality faux suede cords and accessories.

Cute multi-row necklace. I think it looks very similar to the photos in the product description. There are three progressively longer strands ending in square gold colored metal beads that increase in size; then each thread is divided into two threads, consisting of small flat discs separated at unequal intervals by rings of twisted copper-colored wire. I have no idea what these drives actually are - they are very thin and light and some segments have dozens and others only a few. They range in color from off-white to ivory to beige and really make for an interesting and beautiful pattern. The necklace is approximately 19" long (the shortest strand, not including the extension) and each of the strands is approximately 3/8" in diameter - all six combined have a vertical span of approximately 5", it's quite a large one Necklace but it's an understatement. The cord they are strung on has some elasticity.I find this part of the chain well designed and very beautiful.I'm less impressed with the polyester suede cords that lead to the hardware. They feel and look quite thin I'm sure they will only last a short time but I can imagine they will stretch and thin in a short time and also get a little dirty especially the white ones Also the hardware is poor quality: the oval ring that holds the lobster clasp on one side of the necklace, as well as the oval ring that holds the clasp on the other side of the necklace, are not complete closed and leaving gaps could cause the necklace to fall off or lost. In fact, it is very visible in the photos if you enlarge the first image. I have seen this on other necklaces (not all) in this line but this is by far the worst. The gaps are so large that the oval rings aren't even oval. This is usually quick and easy to fix. I tried closing them with a small pair of pliers but it didn't work very well. I like the necklace so much that I will probably take care of replacing the accessories myself. It seems to me that some kind of quality control or verification process should be in place. Otherwise I'd say it's a well made necklace and quite good for the low price - it seems a shame to have a handmade piece with inferior faux suede cords and hardware. One star deducted for these reasons.
