I bought this and found it useful at first, but ended up selling it and replacing it with a Roost stand ([.]) because Roost.1. elevates my laptop two inches, which I need for better visibility and posture2. better positions the screen of my MacBook Pro (15 inch 2011) to open it more fully, while the gold touch tilts my screen too far down3. weighs only 5 ounces. compared to the pound for Goldtouch. Yes, Roost is more expensive, but it's worth it for me and for long-term use. I found out about The Roosts Stand on the Kickstarter page and have no affiliation with the creator or their company.
