Bought for my late 2012 MacBook Pro as the original cable was stretchy. I didn't want to spend $80 on another Apple charger that was going to fail in a few years, so I bought this adapter. The maximum charging power is 65W (as advertised on my laptop), although my USBC power bank can charge 100W from a single USBC port. Apple's standard charger reached 85W. It doesn't matter because 65W is enough to charge the laptop while it's in use. The loading time between camp and this has not increased significantly. I am satisfied with this purchase as an alternative to the Apple charger. Please note that to operate this adapter, you need a USBC PD power supply that can be charged at high power. Forget USBC phone chargers, find a PD charger that can deliver at least 80W from ONE port - often manufacturers will list the ENTIRE wattage for all ports, so check the specs to make sure the wattage of a single port is high enough.
