First of all, these deli-style containers are a little bigger than I thought, but that's ok. I actually wanted them to be used for my kids lunch at school. They fit perfectly in my kid's lunch box but not in my son's bento lunch box so keep that in mind when purchasing. I love that they're reusable, but I won't get upset if kids accidentally throw them away at school as long as I prefer not to bring them to school from the wrong containers of mine so they're handy. They can be washed in the dishwasher and used in the microwave. I don't have a dishwasher so I can't comment on that. I haven't used them in the microwave either, my kids use them on fresh fruit (grapes, blueberries and strawberries). These containers are also great for soups as they are airtight. I filled one with water and turned it upside down for a minute to check for leaks. The lids close securely and fold up easily. They're BPA-free, durable, and not flimsy at all. Excellent quality that I am satisfied with and can recommend.
