I have an old version of this sock and have used it for over 2000 miles on AT and other cascade runs. The Velcro is guaranteed to wear out, get clogged with ice or mud, and the Velcro's small dual flaps are awkward to attach and detach. They can be difficult to handle even with colder fingers. They also seem too big, like your clown balloons walking around your boots.
