The quality of Minnetonka moccasins has definitely deteriorated. As a long time buyer of this particular model I figured they would last me another 2-4 years like the others. NO. The laces broke after 2 months but I emailed support and they quickly sent me a replacement. I was hooked until I realized the hassle of changing laces. I tried unsuccessfully to thread the lace through all sorts of devices in hopes that I could get it back into the boot. Then, after 5 months of ownership, the sole detached from the shoe. This is not acceptable for the price paid and I will not buy it again. Pull yourself together, Minneton. You lose loyal customers! Edit: After contacting Minnetonka, they sent a new pair since my original pair was under warranty. I am happy to announce that this couple has been around for many years! I just bought a new pair as this pair showed normal signs of wear. Edit: 12/2020 I received a pair of these moccasins for Christmas last year and the sole has come off the moccasin for the third time! This is after 11 months of wearing indoors (I mostly wear indoors, not in the garage). As others have said, the quality has gone down significantly.
