I have a 15 year old kitten who was having a bit of trouble accessing the 'regular' litter box in the back of the bathroom so I wanted to help him out by putting another litter box in a convenient location . . I decided to try them out because I wanted something definitively disposable and the medium size seemed to fit. He's a tiny kitten - 9 pounds - so he doesn't need anything too big. We've been using them for about 6 weeks now and they work great. I use clumping litter and I'm afraid it might "stick" to the crate. It's not like this! This works just as well as my heavier plastic tray. It doesn't seem to hold the smell either. I "camouflaged" the extra pot at a small table with a floor length tablecloth and Fred (Kitty) has no problem getting it out in time, so fewer "accidents". "Very happy with them - will continue to use them as long as they continue to work as well as they do now. Fred seems happy and so am I.
