I bought for myself, I wear women's shoes 9M (US size). These are small. They stretch and I was able to put them on my foot but I didn't like the feel. The fabric feels like rayon or polyester or something, not the softness of cotton that I wanted. I passed them on to my daughter (she hasn't tried them on yet but wears 8M). They're thin, fluffy, and cute, but generally small and not soft to the touch.
