Baconator best in small devices

Me! it's more than i expected. I would give it 10 stars/5 if I could. I have an older and rounder Morgan Freeman that has been doing fantastic for years, but for Speck it was so-so. The article does not close completely and is rather small. I actually had to cut the bacon and it was crooked and a bit painful. and a good crispy batch (1#) of bacon took over 45 minutes. Now this doesn't need to be cut anymore and is good for 5 (or 6) full slices. It's covered in bacon, keeping it in contact with both cooking surfaces. It takes about 4 minutes to cook crispy bacon without having to move it or do anything. It came out flatter, no rubber section, done. Great for a sandwich or mashed up in a salad (and/or edible like chips XD). The temperature is perfect for this application, it cooks efficiently and doesn't burn or boil. The heat distribution was perfect, there were no significant problems. It would be great to have control, but I find it easy to use, effective, and great for bacon. A few different things, maybe a different story, but as a bacon maker, I couldn't ask for anything better. On top of that, cleaning is child's play, nothing sticks, sticks or stains. I like the lighter color, it helps to see things when you don't clean them well. I use a paper towel to wipe down large items and a soapy sponge to finish the job. The drip tray is on the shallow side, but a pound of bacon, well cooked, fills it about 1/3 and the pore edges may improve a bit. but again, it's okay. A big plus is the ability to make it flat (horizontal). I haven't tried it, but that's definitely a plus. The store is vertical, again there is another plus. Hooks for holding the cord are also useful. The only thing I could say that could be improved is the length of the cable which is a bit short at around 24 inches at the back of the unit. a little bit better, and temperature control for cooking other dishes would make this excellent product something better for any (other) cooking. This is a well thought out product with a good design and I highly recommend it. I paid $90 for it (thanks again Covid) and it's worth it (time saving, ease of use in a busy kitchen and no frustration) and now it's $63. Wow I can get a second one lol. I am very satisfied, I hope you are too.
