This is a relatively good third-party Apple Watch strap. I'm guessing that the link removal tool shown in the images was actually what came up. I've ordered 2 more sets like this one, where the link removal shown was significantly better than the one that turned out to be a pretty useless piece of junk. The tool they provide takes some getting used to and a steady hand, but it gets the job done. The finish on this strap is not very high quality and mine already had some pretty noticeable nicks which I noticed as soon as I received it. It seems to me that this is a fairly cheap painted metal. In terms of price and that you don't have to spend a lot of money for Apple's version, it does what it's supposed to do.
