cats. I opened them and they are so cute I was tempted to keep some for myself. (I didn't) The kitten's head is heavy and smooth, not plastic or cheap. They're *little* spoons, they're so good for stirring in a cup of tea or something, but don't count on them being eaten. Unless it's just a small bowl of ice cream. Very cute and seems well made. The recipient loves them and serves me coffee and tea with every meal we have together.
