As far as I can tell there is no way to replace a glowing filament when it burns out.
They are very nice. I plan to use them instead of candles on the dining table. The only thing wrong is that I don't see a way to open them when the lights go out to replace the little garlands with new filament. Of course you can change the batteries, but the garland will not last forever. For the price and the lack of filament replacement, I wouldn't buy it again.
