I bought Rodi when my son was 13 months old. He could stand on his own for about 30 seconds, but he couldn't walk without holding onto something. When he first saw me blow up Rody his eyes were so big and round! He even hugged Rody and laughed out loud. However, he wouldn't let me get dressed and I was disappointed. I left Rody next to his other toys and let him get to know them better. His father also forced him to try. After a week he finally agreed to ride with our support. After about 2 weeks he could ride it and "jump" on his own, although his feet never left the ground, but that was enough for a 14 month old baby who couldn't walk on his own! It was a bit pricey but could probably last a long time. With Rody, he was able to train balance and use energy at home. It was also very cute and easy to clean. I really love it!
