I charged my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon (5th gen, Kabylake) from 0% to 56% and then stopped working (yes, on the first day of use). Note: My laptop's charge indicator didn't register the charger at all, even when charging for the first time. Although it is labeled Lenovo, the label is slightly different and the cable length is also slightly different. The above leads me to believe that this is definitely a fake and I would recommend that you avoid doing this as the laptop will either reject it and/or its specs mismatch (in which case it could damage your laptop). No problem with more expensive OEM directly from Lenovo. I just wish they shipped faster.
