Original Lenovo AC adapter with Smart Power

This is an original Lenovo AC adapter with identical model number that Lenovo sells on its website. Please note that Lenovo manufactures two chargers, one with an output voltage of only 20V and the other automatically detects and outputs 5V/2A, 9V/2A, 15V/3A, or 20V/2.25A . The Smart Power model that comes with your Lenovo device can be used to charge any device via USB-C. The 20V output version can only be used to charge Lenovo PCs and may damage other devices. Works very well until it stops working but lasts quite a long time

In case anyone was wondering, this charger is almost exactly the same as the original one that came with your laptop. Except that it gets worse over time. It stops working when I try to connect it to my laptop. After about a year I had to order a new one. I don't know if the original wears out as quickly. But as long as it works, it will work beautifully.

  • Stable test results

Poor contact after less than a month of use

After seeing the great reviews I decided to invest in a Lenovo branded charger rather than an unnamed one. After less than three weeks of use, the connection has become loose and needs constant adjustment to continue charging. If I had the package I would send it back.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Not as good as it promises

I charged my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon (5th gen, Kabylake) from 0% to 56% and then stopped working (yes, on the first day of use). Note: My laptop's charge indicator didn't register the charger at all, even when charging for the first time. Although it is labeled Lenovo, the label is slightly different and the cable length is also slightly different. The above leads me to believe that this is definitely a fake and I would recommend that you avoid doing this as the laptop will either reject itโ€ฆ

Fire hazard! Power cord failed or fell apart in less than a year

Purchased to have a second travel power supply. It worked well except for the occasional notification from my X1 Carbon that the device wasn't charging. The wiggling of the cable might fix this, but that's not the main reason for concern and isn't why I'm giving it 1 star. After less than a year of moderate use, the cable started fraying where it plugs into the adapter. . This went unnoticed to me until my 17 month old son dropped a Lego on it, which sent out a spark in a flash of blue lightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Available in black only

The power supply overheats and fails after two days. Not Lenovo, but a copy. Do not buy. Buy direct from Lenovo for the same price. This item was sold and shipped by Revain. I used to work for Lenovo and a careful comparison with the original AC adapter that came with my Thinkpad E595 resulted in these issues. The device became very hot (also too hot to touch) during charging. Then failed for two days.2. The USB-C port is very difficult to connect to the ThinkPad E595. Connector out ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lenovo model numbers depend on the suffix, 5th and 6th Gen X1 Carbon use this item, but all other X1 Carbon models do not use this item. P51s use this element, but P50 and P51 do not use this element.

Perfect replacement or extra charger for Lenovo Yoga 920

I bought a cheap nameless 65w charger from another Revain seller. it was half the price. Same multimode amp/voltage specs as the original Charger, but the build quality was different. This charger died about a day after I started using it and it was returned to Revain. I'm sorry it didn't work because it was cheaper and a bit more compact than this Lenovo. THIS charger, on the other hand, is essentially the same that came with my Yoga 920 and works great. Barely feels warm. Nice long cord. Itโ€ฆ
