Description of Continental ContiCrossContact LX2 215/60 R17 96H summer

Continental ContiCrossContactTM LX 2 - Superb on-road and light off-road handling. Excellent braking performance on dry and wet surfaces, as well as very good handling. Long mileage and high driving comfort. Excellent traction characteristics in light off-road conditions. Like the previous model without the “two” in the name, the Continental ContiCrossContact LX2 summer passenger tire is designed for crossovers and SUVs, most of which are used on asphalt highways and dirt roads. From its popular predecessor, the new German tire giant differs in increased braking efficiency, both on dry and wet roads, which ensures a higher level of safety. In addition, this model boasts excellent handling and low noise levels. And, of course, the Continental ContiCrossContact LX2 is perfectly suited for driving on country roads and light off-road. Since the tire was originally intended for use mainly on paved roads, the German tire manufacturers preferred to use a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern with massive blocks. At the same time, in the central part and shoulder zones, they are interconnected by rigid bridges. Thanks to this technical solution, it was possible to solve several problems at once. First of all, this is the lightning response of the tire to the steering wheel, which greatly facilitated the process of control. In addition, directional stability has been significantly improved, due to which the tire has gained stability when driving at any speed. It is also impossible not to note the decrease in rolling resistance, which most favorably affected the fuel efficiency indicators. Despite the small number of tread blocks by modern standards, this tire compares favorably with the highest braking efficiency, especially on wet roads. This ability appeared due to the many straight lamellas. These tread elements simultaneously perform two functions at once. First of all, this is the creation of additional grip edges that appear at the moment the lamella comes into contact with the road surface. In addition, when driving on a wet road, the sharp straight edges formed by them remove water from the contact patch, directing it into the longitudinal drainage grooves. This results in a higher hydroplaning resistance. One of the key features of the tread pattern of this tire is the presence of two longitudinal ribs in the shoulder areas, which are distinguished by the absence of any breaks along their entire length. Like lamellas, they are multifunctional. First of all, they are a barrier to noise generated in the central part of the tread when driving. Thanks to the sound-absorbing properties of these longitudinal ribs, a higher level of driving comfort is ensured...

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

I've been driving for a long time, and this is the first set of tires from this brand that I've purchased. I've tried other brands and models, but this one keeps the road with the least amount of vibration and the least amount of noise. You should take it; you won't be sorry.

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I've tried many other brands and models over the course of my many years behind the wheel, and I can say without exaggeration that this is the greatest tire I've ever purchased. It grips the road well and produces nearly no noise. Don't think twice about it; just do it.

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

I purchased a tire from this brand for the first time because of my extensive driving experience. Previously, I had tried many different manufacturers and models, but without boasting, this is the best one that maintains the road with a bang and makes almost no noise. In other words, the rubber is worth the money. You won't regret it if you take it.

Cons
  • have not yet disclosed

I chose tires for mixed trips, I didn’t need much evil, because. 90% in the city. The behavior of the car has changed a little, with sharp turns, a slight oversteer is felt. Otherwise, I liked the tires, especially the comfort compared to the previous ones.

Pros
  • Soft, quiet, well-behaves on wet roads
Cons
  • Haven't found any deficiencies yet

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

Excellent tires! For the city and for bad roads - it's the most. For the "German autobahns", of course the H/T bridge would be better. Its pros: Low noise, very soft and comfortable, all good with aquaplaning. You go - you rest! Some cons: At speeds over 160 km / h a little uncomfortable. The track is also not her element.

When I use the tire on my TLK 200 in places where the asphalt is nonexistent or severely lacking, it performs admirably. The tire's comfort, which "smooths out" the bumps on the road better, was the first thing noticed when driving off-road. This is a major benefit for the TLK 200 with the upgraded suspension. Tires were tested on sand and primer at high speeds. This is something I would suggest.

Pros
  • These tires are quiet and pleasant. Excellent control on both dry and wet pavement. It's adequate for use on gravel roads and mild off-roading. Previously, I had been using the BFG All Terrain KO2 285/60R18, but after making the switch to the Conti CrossContact LX2 285/60R18, I could finally relax in peace and quiet.
Cons
  • Not able to locate them while in use.

A little disappointed, a bad purchase.

While it would have been possible for him to continue riding the bear he'd been using for the previous five years for at least one more riding season, we opted to get him a new ikstreyl instead. Even though he drives cautiously, his efforts have been futile. Two-wheeled bumps after two months. Brutal underbelly The rubber is standard in all other regards, but what the heck, you don't need it.

Great product, a pleasure to use.

Amazing tire. Purchased tires for the Suzuki Grand Vitara are 225/65 R17. Due to the tread pattern's adaptability, it was anticipated that the tire would be noisier than any other road alternative. Instead, it was entirely silent. Additionally, it is instantly apparent from the tread pattern that they may be utilized in both asphalt and natural settings without any issues. Before purchasing, I undoubtedly read a lot about tires, but after using them, I came to the conclusion that everything I…

Pros
  • Low noise, great handling, and tire assurance
Cons
  • Until I learned

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

The selection in 275/65 R17 is not particularly wide. With its cutting-edge tread, Michelin scared off potential customers. Nokian SUV stood in front of it, and the Japanese were quickly rejected because to their renowned stiffness. In light of the fact that the car, despite being a heavy 4x4, spends 99.9% of its time on asphalt, I ultimately decided to go with the Conti and have never looked back. After Nokian (a strong middle peasant, by the way), the car was noticeably quieter, pavement…

Pros
  • Quite, cozy, and superb traction.
Cons
  • Price.

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

Tire size 215/60 R16, 2022 model year Tiguan package. Noise cancellation rubber. It's not that she was completely silent; rather, the lack of a distinctive "voice" means that her noises are drowned out by the ambient environment. You can hear the engine, the wind, the other cars, and only when the surface changes (when the old asphalt finishes and the new one begins, for example) do you hear a shift in the general noise and are reminded that the car is moving on wheels. Although the Tiguan's…

Pros
  • Calm, gentle, and persistent.
Cons
  • We discovered no faults.

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

Replaced the bear with this Continental model. I negotiated a lower price and had some reservations before making the purchase. After a few weeks, I had a basis for comparison. A tire capable of handling city streets, the interstate, and even the weak off-road ramps with ease was required. As a driver, I put it through its paces. Just hoping it rains where he is. And look at these gorgeous puddles and raindrops! When hydroplaning is stopped in its tracks by strong braking, taxiing continues to…

Pros
  • Superb in terms of taxiing and traction on the track; quiet and supple.
Cons
  • If not, use of time and distance will reveal it.

The perfect product for any user!

The tires were bought for a Suzuki Grand Vitara, which is driven almost exclusively on asphalt in the city and only occasionally goes on longer trips. Before that, there was an AT tire, but it made a lot of noise both in the city and on the highway, and it was also quite harsh, so I looked for something that was somewhere in the middle. In general, there was a strong desire to replace the old tires with new ones that were both quieter than the previous ones and maintained the vehicle's ability…

Pros
  • Despite its spectacular appearance, the tire is quiet and comfortable. A rubber composite that is pleasant to the touch. The sidewall has a substantial feel to the touch without being too harsh, and it handles bumps on the road exceptionally well. Excellent traction both when the asphalt is dry and when it is wet. Excellent maneuverability on the mix both at 0 degrees Fahrenheit and in slushy conditions.
Cons
  • Only one has been found so far; the protector is the one who gathers the little stones, although this is not required.
