I tried it firsthand and compared the quality of the mic and speaker/noise cancellation. I've come to the following conclusions: 1) Yes, you can use this with MacOS - provided you have a USB extension to plug into. The speakerphone really connects and works. You can automatically adjust the volume, mute and unmute the sound, and enable the AI function. 2) The speakerphone does not switch to the AVmedia device. You can still hear the caller's voice loud and clear through your MacBook speaker. Now I'm not quite sure if the microphone will also work with AVmedia. 3) The AI feature works fine but doesn't completely mask it. I think the MacBook already had a similar feature of its own. Which somehow might defeat the purpose of such expansion and noise reduction. In general, my review was only tested with a MacBook and may differ from other laptops. But for MacBook users, this may not be a value-added move.
