Materials don't stand up to heat? I'm in New York. The average heat that builds up inside a car in the sun is apparently enough to destroy this object. Direct sunlight is not necessary. I had this organizer on my visor but I never used it because initially the quality wasn't very good. Eventually, it spontaneously began to disintegrate into a million pieces of black plastic. I kept finding these black rags around my front seat and didn't know where they came from at first. Well, every time I rolled my visor just far down to block the sun, black crumbs would fall into my car. Once I figured out where it came from, I took the organizer off and it literally fell apart. There was nothing left but a gossamer piece of cloth and a few handfuls of black shards. I bought another organizer from another company (Rubbermaid) for the same price and am very satisfied. It is durable and still looks new after years of use. It looks much higher quality. Skip the headache. There are better products in this price range.
