Review on LG 38BN95C-W UltraWide ๐Ÿ’ป Thunderbolt Connect 3840X1600P, 144Hz, Curved Monitor by Gary Jordan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Impressive monitor with multiple inputs

I switched to this model from a setup with two ultra-clear 27-inch displays and was concerned that the reduction in screen real estate would be significant, but I was pleasantly surprised that this is exactly the size I needed. PBP functionality. Text clarity, brightness and image settings are excellent. The build quality is solid, although most of the case is made of plastic. Aesthetically, this is a great ad. I mainly use this monitor for work - and it meets all my needs. gotta work with big spreadsheets and some open programs, but I also use it for light gaming (Civ VI, xBox) and the picture quality/response time is much better than my previous 60hz monitors. Blurring or screen tearing when playing Forza Horizon 5 or MS FlightSim on xBox. I only have two minor complaints that don't affect my use or overall experience as I really like this monitor, but they are: 1) The functional joystick on the bottom of the monitor is annoying. I would like to see a remote control option available in future models. 2) The included stand is a big desktop hog, which I ended up buying a separate monitor arm with a much smaller profile to use with this monitor; The problem is solved. Overall I'm very happy with this particular LG model and I highly recommend it.
